From Creativity to Entrepreneurship: Meet Bristol & Co.

At Bloom Scholars, we believe learning doesn’t stop when a lesson ends. Some of the most meaningful learning happens when students take an idea they are passionate about and turn it into something of their own.

This week, we’re so excited to highlight Bristol and her bracelet business, Bristol & Co.

Bristol has been part of Bloom Scholars for over a year, and throughout that time, we’ve had the opportunity to watch her grow not only academically, but also as a creative, confident, and incredibly social young person. She brings so much enthusiasm and joy into her lessons, and she has a natural ability to connect with the people around her.

This summer, Bristol decided to take that creativity one step further.

A 30-Day Bracelet Challenge

With an interest in making bracelets, Bristol created a challenge for herself: make and sell a new bracelet every day for 30 days.

Rather than simply making bracelets as a hobby, Bristol turned her creativity into a real business.

One of the things we love most about Bristol’s story is that her learning is happening naturally through something she genuinely enjoys.

She isn’t simply completing an assignment about entrepreneurship. She is experiencing it.

This is exactly the kind of learning we hope to encourage at Bloom Scholars: learning that connects academic skills to the real world and gives students the opportunity to discover what they are capable of.

Bristol brings a special kind of energy into our Bloom Scholars community. She is creative, enthusiastic, outgoing, and full of ideas, and we love seeing her find ways to turn those qualities into something meaningful.

We are so proud of Bristol for challenging herself this summer, putting her creativity into action, and having the courage to share what she creates with others.
