Terms of Service
The terms that apply when you use this site, create an account, book a session, or submit a review.

1.About these terms
These terms apply when you use bloomscholars.org, create an account, book a tutoring or coaching session, or submit a review. In these terms, "Bloom Scholars", "we", and "us" mean Bloom Scholars, and "you" means the person using the site — normally a parent or guardian arranging sessions for a child.
By using the site or booking a session you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.
2.What Bloom Scholars provides
We provide personalized tutoring and coaching for students from Kindergarten through college level. Our programs include 1:1 academic tutoring, homeschool curriculum and instruction, standardized exam preparation, life skills coaching, and ADHD coaching. The programs described on our site represent examples of the types of sessions a student may participate in, and each plan is designed around the individual student.
Our services are supplemental educational support. We are not a school and we do not award grades, credits, diplomas, or accreditation. Enrolling with us does not replace any enrollment, reporting, or record-keeping obligation you may have to a school or to your state.
Our ADHD coaching is educational support informed by how students with ADHD learn. It is not a medical, psychological, or diagnostic service, and it is not a substitute for assessment or treatment by a qualified healthcare professional.
We work hard to help every student make meaningful progress, and we report on that progress openly. Individual results depend on many factors outside our control, including attendance, effort, and each student’s circumstances, so we cannot promise particular grades or test scores.
3.Your account
Booking a session requires an account. Accounts are for parents, guardians, and other adults; a child should not create one. If you are arranging sessions for a child, you confirm that you have authority to do so and to share information about them with us.
- Give accurate information when you register, and keep it up to date.
- Verify your email address when we ask you to, so we can send booking and account notices reliably.
- Keep your password confidential and do not let anyone else use your account.
- Tell us promptly if you think someone has accessed your account without permission.
We may suspend or close an account that is being used in breach of these terms, or where we reasonably believe it is being used fraudulently or to harm another person.
4.Booking sessions
Every family begins with a free 1:1 consultation and assessment. You choose a time that suits your family, we get to know you and your child, and you then receive a personalized recommendation before deciding whether to enroll in a program.
Sessions are booked through the site by selecting an available time. A booking is confirmed once you have completed the booking flow and, where payment is required, payment has been accepted. Availability shown on the site can change while you are booking, and occasionally we may need to move a session — if that happens we will contact you to arrange an alternative.
If you have any question about a session you have booked, or need to change one, contact us using the details at the bottom of this page.
5.Fees and payment
Each program is priced per session. Current rates and session lengths are shown with each program on our Programs page, and the price applicable to a booking is the one displayed at the time you book.
Payments are processed by Stripe. By paying through the site you also accept Stripe’s terms as they apply to your payment. We do not receive or store your full card details. Your card issuer may apply its own fees, such as for currency conversion.
If a payment fails or is reversed after a session has been booked, we may hold the booking until payment is resolved.
6.Reviews and content you submit
You are welcome to submit a review of your experience. Reviews are not published automatically — our team reviews each one, and we publish only those we approve. We may decline to publish a review, or remove one later, at our discretion.
By submitting a review or testimonial you give us permission to publish it on the site and in our marketing, together with your name and a general description such as a year group. You can ask us to remove it or withhold your name at any time.
Please only submit content that is your own and that is truthful. Do not submit anything unlawful, misleading, abusive, or that discloses private information about another person or another family’s child.
7.Acceptable use
When using the site, please do not:
- Break the law, or use the site to harm, harass, or impersonate anyone.
- Try to access another user’s account, or any part of our systems you have not been given access to.
- Interfere with the site’s operation or security, including by scraping at a scale that degrades it for others.
- Copy, resell, or redistribute our curriculum, lesson materials, or site content except as allowed below.
- Record a session without our prior agreement and the agreement of everyone taking part.
8.Our content and materials
The site and its contents — including text, design, logos, photographs, articles, course descriptions, and the lesson materials we prepare — belong to Bloom Scholars or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property law.
Materials we give you for your child’s learning are for that child’s personal, non-commercial use. Please do not share, publish, or sell them. Where a family supplies their own curriculum for us to teach, that curriculum remains the property of its owner and we use it only to deliver that family’s sessions.
9.Third-party services
Parts of the site rely on third parties — Stripe for payments, Calendly for scheduling, Mailchimp for our newsletter, and Cloudinary for image hosting. Your use of those features is also subject to the relevant provider’s own terms, and we are not responsible for their services or content.
Where we link to another website, we do so for convenience and do not endorse or take responsibility for what it contains.
10.Site availability and changes
We aim to keep the site available and accurate, but we may change, suspend, or withdraw parts of it, including individual programs and prices. Access may also be interrupted for maintenance or for reasons outside our control.
Information on the site is provided for general guidance about our programs. Where something matters to your decision, please confirm it with us directly before you book.
11.Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms, so please check back occasionally.
12.How to contact us
If you have a question or a concern about these terms, or about any session or payment, contact us at hello@bloomscholars.org or (915) 260-0753. We would always rather talk something through than leave a family unsure, and we typically respond to all inquiries within 24 business hours.
